Dental photography is an extremely valuable tool for practicing dentists and dental educators. The adage “a picture is worth a thousand words” is never truer then when discussing a patient’s dental concerns. Digital imaging adds a new and exciting dimension to communicating with patients, referring dentists and specialists. You will learn the various aspects of photography and imaging and how it relates to dentistry. The latest equipment, both hardware and software will be discussed. Intra and extra oral photography and the photography of other dental related subjects will be covered. (This course is a pre-requisite for W09.)
