This is an informative and compelling course that deals with medical and dental issues concerning women at various stages of their lives. Pregnancy and issues particularly affecting younger women including eating disorders and domestic violence will be presented. Issues relating to the mature woman going through peri-menopause and menopause will be discussed. The most current information on cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, hormone replacement therapy, as well as alternative modalities, will be presented.
