In this BLS Healthcare Provider Renewal Course, participants learn CPR skills for helping victims of all ages, including ventilation with a barrier device/ambu bag; use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). This course is intended for healthcare professionals who wish to renew their CPR/AED certifications. Individuals with an expired certification are referred to the 5-hour course scheduled on Friday. Upon completion of the course, each participant receives a Health Care Provider CPR/AED card valid for two years. Participants should dress comfortably. Attendance is limited to 50.
Non-members must register for this renewal course under course code CP6 ($80).
