In this course, Dr. Baughman focuses on the prevention of medical errors for patient protection and the reduction of associated legal risks for practitioners. Participants deal with the most frequent error producers and framework for daily application of basic common sense steps for an office team approach to reduce error risks. Examples are drawn from real cases where errors resulted in patient harm and/or doctor liability, while a little humor is shared along the way.
