Using anonymized cases, participants will receive hands-on training on the use of a cone beam CT client viewer. A brief presentation on CT will precede the workshop. You will be introduced to commonly used terminology in CT, applications in dentistry, advantages, and the need for interpretation of data. In addition, you will have the opportunity to review selected i-CAT Cone Beam 3-D scans using I-CATVision in an interactive mode. Image multiplanar reconstruction, volumetric rendering, image manipulation using windowing and leveling, and special reconstructions using the software will be covered. Participants must bring their own notebook PC (Windows based). Attendance is limited to 25.
