The Legal Department coordinates the association’s legal activities, including litigation and contract review. It administers the FDA’s risk management programs to ensure compliance with all applicable laws. It also provides staff support for the Council on Ethics, Bylaws and Judicial Affairs (CEBJA), the Council on Dental Education and Licensure (CDEL) and the FDA’s chief liaison to the Board of Dentistry.

While the FDA Legal staff cannot give legal advice on specific cases or situations, we try to provide helpful information on issues/questions that impact our members as a whole.
