In consultation with the FDA’s Editor, this department designs and produces Today’s FDA, the association’s monthly journal, and the Sourcebook, the association’s annual membership directory. This department coordinates the weekly issuance of Headquarters Update and also produces News Bites, the FDA’s monthly electronic publication for membership. It also administers the public awareness/outreach program, Dentistry: Gateway to Good Health. Also,in addition, the department manages the FDA’s media relations for programs such as Children’s Dental Health Month, and Give Kids a Smile, in consultation with the Council on Communications, and serves as staff support to the Council on Communications.
