This department supports a number of FDA liaisons with both Florida dental schools and all three key dental ancillary groups, i.e., the Florida Dental Hygiene Association, the Florida Dental Laboratory Association and the Florida Dental Assistants Association.
It also administers the FDA student loan fund and coordinates dental and allied dental-education programs endorsed by the FDA. In these capacities, it also serves as staff support to the Council on Dental Education and the Committee on Dental Accreditation Matters.
