Dr. Hoffman earned his dental degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in Pennsylvania and his Ph.D. at the University of Virginia. He maintains a general practice in Jupiter.
Dr. Hoffman has served as president of the North Palm Beach Dental Association (NPDA) and as an NPDA Children’s Dental Health Month chairperson. He has served as president and treasurer of the Atlantic Coast District Dental Association (ACDDA) and as its Peer Review chairperson. He also has served as a member of the FDA House of Delegates.
Dr. Hoffman is a past chairperson of the FDA’s Council on Association Affairs and Council on Membership and has served on the FDA Board of Trustees and Governance Committee. He has served on the ADA Communication and Membership Reference Committee and as chairperson of the ADA Council on Membership. He currently serves on the Florida Delegation to the ADA House of Delegates
Dr. Hoffman is a member of the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society of North America, the American College of Dentists and Pierre Fauchard Academy. He received an FDA Service Award in 1998 and 2001, and an FDA Special Recognition Award in 2005 for his many years of service as chairperson of the FDA Council on Membership.
Dr. Hoffman has served on the Palm Beach County Community College Dental Health Services Advisory Board and as treasurer of “Have a Caring Heart,” a Project: Dentists Care fund-raising project. He also has participated in “Christina’s Smile,” a non-profit, mobile dental care facility that provides free dental care to children in need.
Dr. Hoffman and his wife, Dana, have three children, Alana, Kelsey and Aynsley.
